Meet Luis, one of our Campus Bound Scholars who is headed to Cornell University for the 2017 fall semester. Luis immigrated to America from Guatemala 4 years ago. “When I hear the word Cornell, a rush of both excitement and nervousness goes throughout my whole body. For me, Cornell University is such a prestigious place and knowing that I am part of their family makes me feel amazing. At the same time, I also know that studying at Cornell will not be easy work. I will be competing against some of the smartest kids in the world. I plan on majoring in Biological Sciences and getting a minor in business. My future goal is to go to graduate school and become a doctor.
